Revlon Nearly Naked Review

I'm obsessed with youtube. I'm literally on it everyday.
I recently saw Missglamorazzi Review of the Nearly Naked Foundation and I had to try it out! Although, it seems everyone else had the same idea because the shelves were about cleared. Finally after 4 stores later, I found my shade in the foundation and powder.

I'm the lightest shade in the "Nearly Naked" line. I wasn't surprised but geezzz the light shades were impossible to find.

This foundation runs about $9.99 and has an SPF20 (found mine at ULTA)

I am 110 - Ivory. Here is a list of all the other shades.

The consistency is a bit watery but still has a slight thickness to it.

Unfortunately there is no pump on this foundation so don't do like me and try to pour it out fast. It's a pain to get out of carpets :/

I'm also the lightest shade in the "Nearly Naked" powder. This shade is 010 - Fair.

CVS, Walgreens & K-Mart were all out of this shade but ol' faithful Wal-mart had one left!

Also, like the foundation, this runs about $9.99

This powder feels like high end! It's not creamy but it's also not powdery. It's very smooth and silky soft to the touch.

This is me with a clean face and no makeup on.
I'm starting to break out like a teenager again :( .
I have more under the skin acne than actual surface acne.
I'm almost certain it's the yucky city water here.

In order to get a flawless finish, I apply my makeup with a damp sponge and smooth out with a finishing brush. I also use the brush to apply my powder.

Yes, my daughter pulled the top of my sponge off, crazy kid. This sponge is $2 at walmart and the brush came with a set of brushes from Cost-Co.

The left side of my face has already had foundation applied unlike the right side.
See the difference? The redness in my face was toned down a lot and it was easily build-able to cover that yucky acne!

Now for the powder and setting spray!

Now drumrole............

This foundation and powder combined are amazing!
You don't feel like you have a ton of make-up caked on your face but it still gives amazing coverage!
Being super lightweight and build-able is a plus for me!
It really does give you that "naked look" while still covering every blemish you may have.

So how does it hold up? 8 hours of house cleaning and running around with a two year old and I still didn't need to touch anything up! Even with my skin being combination skin and oily in the "T-zone" it held on like a champ!

8 hours after applied makeup (:

February progress pictures & measurements

I hate being sick but what bothers me even more than ME being sick is my daughter being sick too! The last few days have consisted of Mickey Mouse and cough syrup, yuck!

Also, it's that time again so I'm cramming for midterms :/ School seems to be never ending and I really can't wait till summer (like high school all over). Hurry up April!!!

Beyond that, my fitness motivation has declined a bit. With being achy (& sick) all the time, it's hard to talk myself into getting up and torturing my body into more pain.

I tried doing Day 2 of my C25K and ended up only being able to last 17 minutes instead of 30 minutes. Pushing a stroller (not a jogging stroller) on gravel with a toddler while trying to run, also while sick, just wasn't working out.

I AM going to continue my C25K on Tuesday no matter how horrible I'm feeling. In the meantime I've been doing yoga to stay active without beating myself up and it seems to have helped a little bit.

So far I've lost
Upper Chest - 1/2 Inch
Midriff - 1/2 Inch
Waist - 1 Inch
Upper Hip- 1 Inch
Mid Thigh - 1 Inch

So far I've gained
Bust - 1 Inch (not sure why but yay!)

And now for my progress pictures.....

You may not see a difference but I do! My stomach is a bit firmer and the sides have seem to come together in that "V shape" a little more. Maybe I'm the only one that sees it but hey, it's motivation.

I'm still going to post my full measurements for February, just so I can keep a record.

February Measurements
  • Upper Chest- 36.5 in.
  • Bust- 39 in.
  • Midriff 34.5 in.
  • Upper Arm- 11.5 in.
  • Waist- 36.5 in.
  • Upper Hip- 39 in.
  • Lower Hip- 38.5 in.
  • Upper Thigh- 24 in.
