Cosmo VoxBox 2012!

Ahhhhh!! Finally! After waiting by the mailbox for close to a week, my package is here! I honestly felt like a little kid on Christmas opening this package. Now for the good stuff...

Inside was a postcard. On the front it had directions on how to log into the Influenster site to start reviewing the products. On the back was a detailed summary of everything included in the box along with prices of what the items cost. Don't worry about trying to read this, I will include descriptions and the cost of each item with my review below.

My thoughts: Being in college, I go through my fair share of pens. By coincidence, my favorite pen is Pilot G-2 07. So how did the Pilot FriXion hold out?

Pros: Erase-able pen, tough eraser, ball-point, writes smooth and comes in an array of colors.

Cons: Ink writes light.

Verdict: Honestly, this is a nice pen. The eraser is very hard (almost plastic), not like the mechanical pencil eraser were used to seeing on other erase-able pens. 

Would I buy this item for myself?: No. I like my black ink to be black, not grey.   Sorry FriXion.

My thoughts: Every girl can use perfume right? The packaging is nice and simple. Let's see if this .25 fl oz bottle of pure magic smells as good as it sounds...

Pros: Flowery (Florally?) and fruity smell with a small kick of vannilla.

Cons: Very strong when sprayed & full version is too pricey.

Verdict: This perfume has a very nice scent. Only use a half spray because it can be overpowering. It has a sultry "come hither" smell.

Would i buy this item for myself? Yes, but only the small version. The scent is good but I can't see myself wearing such a "provocative" smell picking my daughter up from daycare or grocery shopping.

What the boyfriend thought: His exact words "Hmmm, smells great. Kinda Vanilla-e and flowers. Smells like something a stripper would wear." Well, there went my idea.

My thoughts: Okay, i'm not going to lie. I took this photo right after opening my VoxBox so i could devour this little piece of heaven with my daughter. I hate nuts in my chocolate but i'm getting a tooth pulled tomorrow so what the heck!

Pros: It's chocolate (duh!)

Cons: It disappeared so quickly!

Verdict: Even though i hate nuts in my chocolate, the bar was delicious! The nuts were crushed up very fine, hence why I let my 1 year old eat some, so it gave the bar a crunch. The salt taste was hardly noticeable.

Would i buy this item for myself: Of course! Although, I may try another type of Ghiradelli chocolate just to venture out.

My thoughts: What girl doesn't already own these? I use these (Venus & Olay razor) every time i shave because of my sensitive skin and my laziness to buy shaving gel.

Pros: Built in shaving gel, super sensitive to skin, cartridges can mix and match.

Cons: Yep, can't think of anything.

Verdict: This is my holey-grail product for shaving. I refuse to use anything other than this on my sensitive skin.

Would I buy this for myself?:  I've used these for about 6 years and i plan on continuing. Keep it up Venus, you rock!
